Gabriella Urato is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and behavioral health leader with over 14 years of experience in community mental health, outpatient services, and admissions operations. As Senior Director of Clinical Services at Care Plus NJ, she provides strategic and operational oversight for high-volume mental health walk-in centers and centralized admissions services across multiple counties, helping to ensure timely and equitable access to care for individuals and families throughout the community.
Gabriella oversees multidisciplinary clinical and administrative teams, supports outpatient programming, and manages both fee-for-service and SAMHSA grant-funded initiatives within the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model. Throughout her career, she has played a key role in the expansion of outpatient behavioral health services, adolescent group services, the development of innovative low-barrier access points for care, and the implementation of operational processes that improve efficiency, engagement, and continuity of care.
Known for her collaborative and systems-focused leadership style, Gabriella is passionate about balancing clinical excellence with operational effectiveness. She is committed to fostering supportive team environments, mentoring emerging professionals, and advancing compassionate, affirming mental health care across the lifespan.
Gabriella earned her Master of Social Work from Fordham University and her Bachelor of Social Work from Ramapo College of New Jersey, where she also minored in Psychology and Gerontology. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New Jersey.
