Amie Del Sordo, LCSW is Executive Senior Vice President of Crisis & Community Services at Care Plus NJ, Inc., where she provides strategic and operational leadership across a comprehensive continuum of crisis and community-based behavioral health services. She is responsible for ensuring high-quality, timely, and compassionate care, while advancing system integration, strengthening partnerships, and improving outcomes for individuals in crisis.
With nearly 30 years of experience, Amie has deep expertise in crisis response systems and services for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. She oversees key programs including the Psychiatric Emergency Screening program, 988 Mobile Crisis Outreach Response Teams (MCORT), Crisis Receiving Stabilization Center, intensive outpatient services, case management, residential programs, and supportive housing. She plays a critical role in expanding access to care, enhancing coordination across service lines, and reducing barriers to treatment throughout Bergen County.
A member of the executive leadership team, Amie has led clinical operations, regulatory compliance, fiscal management, and program performance for one of New Jersey’s largest community-based behavioral health providers. She is known for her ability to drive operational efficiency, implement innovative service models, and foster collaboration across healthcare, law enforcement, and community partners.
Amie is also a leader in Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training, serving as Bergen County’s Mental Health Coordinator and training over 1,000 professionals. She holds a Master of Social Work from Kean University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified School Social Worker, Clinical Supervisor, and Certified Mental Health Screener.
