The Care Plus NJ Foundation will be holding its sixth annual “Golfers Give Back” charitable Golf Outing on Monday, September 11, 2017, at White Beeches Country Club in Haworth, NJ.

The event is being held to benefit individuals and families receiving services at Care Plus NJ, and will include a moment of silence in honor of those who served the country and those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

“New Jersey residents living with mental illness and addiction are at an increased risk of not receiving necessary services,” explained Joe Masciandaro, CEO and President at Care Plus NJ. “With dwindling state and federal funding for behavioral healthcare, charitable giving and community support is absolutely essential.”

Proceeds from “Golfers Give Back” benefit those served by Care Plus NJ by providing:

  • Supportive funding for access to treatment programs and services
  • Housing and medication assistance
  • Educational and professional development scholarships
  • Advocacy and community education

“Through our consistent public support activities, community education and fundraising, the Care Plus NJ Foundation is able to offer supportive opportunities for those with financial hardships to access the care and resources that they need,” Masciandaro concluded.

The outing includes breakfast before the shotgun start, an 18-hole course, golf cart access, and a barbecue lunch. The event continues into the evening with a cocktail party, dinner, awards, a silent auction, a tricky tray and a 50/50 raffle.

In addition to various sponsorship opportunities, individuals can participate by golfing, attending the cocktail party and dinner, or purchasing 50/50 tickets.

The Care Plus NJ Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Any questions regarding the event should be directed to the Foundation office at 201-986-5070.

Donate today to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
