Our Admissions Department is staffed by qualified, caring individuals who will walk you through the process of scheduling an appointment and visiting one of our programs or providers. You will be asked a few questions to determine specific needs, including basic information (name, age, etc.), prior and current treatment, and insurance carrier.

Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday & Saturday : 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Fair Lawn Facility:
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday, Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Hasbrouck Heights Facility:
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday & Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Bloomfield Facility:
Monday-Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Contacting Your Clinician

If you wish to speak directly with your assigned clinician, it is important to leave a message at the office where you go for your appointments. Your therapist will call you back as soon as possible during office hours.

Emergency Psychiatric Services

If the service you receive from Care Plus NJ does not offer after-hours or emergency response, Bergen County residents may call the Psychiatric Emergency Screening Program/Screening Center at (201) 262-HELP (4357). Residents of other Counties are encouraged to contact their respective Screening Center if emergency services are requested. If you do not know the number of your local Screening Center, call the Bergen County center and staff will provide you with the information.

Cancellations & Office Emergency Closures

If you need to cancel your appointment, please call the office 24 hours (one working day) before the appointment to avoid cancellation fees. If an emergency occurs the day of your appointment and you cannot keep it, please call the office to cancel. When you miss an appointment or fail to cancel within 24 hours, it affects the care and time we dedicate to others. We are grateful for your cooperation, as it helps us utilize our resources efficiently and avoids the need to charge additional fees.

In the case of inclement weather, please call (201) 265-8200 after 8:00 am to confirm that we are open. A message will be on the answering system if the agency is closed. The office staff will try to reach you by phone to reschedule your appointment.
