The Care Plus Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce the third annual “Golfers Give Back” charity Golf Outing on Monday, September 22, 2014 at the Edgewood Country Club in River Vale, New Jersey. The event is expected to draw supporters of the CarePlus Foundation, representatives from local and national businesses, and members of the community.
Participants will enjoy a buffet breakfast, 18 holes of golf with cart, greens fees and caddies included, lunch served on the course, hole contests, raffles, cocktail party, and dinner with a silent auction.
Supporters play a large role in funding for CarePlus with proceeds from events such as these directly benefiting the clients of CarePlus. With their help, CarePlus can continue to offer training and education programs as well as provide assistance with client medication, housing, and continuing education.
This year’s sponsors include Inserra Supermarkets, Columbia Bank, the FatigatiFamily, and Roy W. Walters & Associates, with more expected to join.
“We hope to build on the success of the Golfers Give Back outing and continue to raise funds to support a great cause,” stated event co-chair Michael Fatigati. “The valuable programs at CarePlus provide so many individuals with the care and structure needed in recovery.”
For the first time the Golfers Give Back golf outing will be held at Edgewood Country Club. Players can enjoy gorgeous, wide, panoramic fairways, strategically placed bunkering and water features, and meticulously manicured greens. Also, as a unique 27-hole golf course, participants will have access to three different nine-hole courses along with practice ranges and putting greens.
“We expect to keep up the tradition with a fun-filled day of events,” Fatigati continued. “Holding the outing at a new course will provide golfers with an exciting challenge and change from our previous outings.”
The Foundation is currently welcoming sponsors, golfers, and dinner guests. For more information, click here or call 201-986-5070.
