The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Targeted Capacity Expansion Initiative awarede Care Plus NJ Inc. $375,000 in annual grant funding over the next three years to expand and enhance its continuum of care for substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders for adolescents and young adults in Bergen County and the surrounding area.
NJBIZ covers how the additional funding will help supplement programs at Care Plus such as the Recovery and Individualized Support Expansion (RISE) program, designed to enhance and expand comprehensive treatment, care coordination, community outreach, and recovery support services for high school-aged adolescents and young adults aged 14-30 who are coping with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.
