CarePlus Expands Residential Program, Meets Major Need

The New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services approved the request from CarePlus to open at new Level A+ home, filling a gap in care for adults with serious mental illness. Anthony Vecchione from NJBIZ covers the topic in an article titled “CarePlus receives A+ approval to expand residential housing program”:

Sampath said that without the additional support and supervision of Level A+ care, many individuals face obstacles to community reintegration. “We are pleased to see the State of NJ responding to the need for a greater level of care by helping us address the gap in services for those coming out of hospital settings with the addition of this Level A+ residence, which will enable us to provide more individuals with access to the quality of care they need,” Sampath said.

CarePlus Residential Services provides community care for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, providing them with the most appropriate level of care and supervision to improve quality of life, increase autonomy, enhance reintegration into the community and prevent re-hospitalization.
