As part of the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic continuum of care, CarePlus has debuted the Outpatient Detox Program, also known as Ambulatory Withdrawal Management. NJBIZ shared the news to the public in an article titled “CarePlus expands outpatient addiction services”:
The service line will be led by Ellery Tarife, an advanced practice nurse. The Outpatient Detox Program at CarePlus connects enrolled individuals – who have come in on their own or who have been referred to Care Plus for detox – with medication assisted treatment, and regular medication monitoring by a multi-disciplinary team led by Tarife to manage opioid withdrawal symptoms.
